Avondale and Forest Park celebrate Love Your Mama Fest this weekend
Businesses in Forest Park and Avondale will be rolling out the royal treatment for area "mamas" with a variety of live entertainment, special brunch deals and even a special beer at Avondale Brewing Company.
During this weekend-long open house businesses will offer gifts for mom and Sunday brunch specials. ABC will brew a special Peach Saison and the brew will be available at participating bars and restaurants in the area.
Certain merchants will also be selling flowers to raise money for M-Power Community Gardens, located in South Avondale.
The festival runs Friday from 5-9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and select restaurants will be open Sunday. Keep an eye on the festival's Facebook page for more updates on each merchant's specials and other important information.
