Theft suspect leads police on early morning chase
BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)- A police chase wrapped up around 4 a.m. on Monday morning. Police say it started off Lakeshore Parkway in Homewood and ended at Avenue F in Ensley.
The suspect crashed his truck following that high speed pursuit. He was taken to Cooper Green Hospital to be checked out first and will be booked in Homewood City Jail later today.
Investigators recovered possible stolen items from the truck. They also think the suspect is connected to several car and home burglaries in Homewood.
