Homewood goes pink to support girl shocked by transformer
News

HOMEWOOD, AL (WBRC)- The Homewood community is coming together to support Caroline Wilson, the little girl who was badly shocked by a transformer at the Liberty Park Sports Complex.

Today the Homewood Soccer Club and Homewood Praying Moms set up a "We Care for Caroline" ribbon drive. The goal is to turn the city of Homewood pink in honor of Caroline.

They handed out pink ribbons at the soccer complex today and collected donations to help cover her medical costs.

We are told Caroline, who was badly burned in the accident, has a long road ahead of her but that she is a fighter and will pull through.
