MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL (WBRC)- Authorities are investigating the second Mountain Brook-area bank robbery in a week Thursday afternoon.

FBI spokesperson Paul Daymond says that a male suspect entered the Regions Bank on Culver Road, passed a note to the teller, took an undisclosed amount of money and then fled.

Daymond says the suspect may be driving a white four-door vehicle. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with a sun tattoo on his left ear. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and white t-shirt with khaki-colored pants.

No weapon was used in the incident and Daymond says no one was injured.
