OLS students honor and serve others in recognition of national celebration

Faith, Academics and Service are what students at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic (OLS) School celebrated during National Catholic Schools Week! January 29 through Friday, February 3, 2012, students focused on learning more about faith, striving for high academic standards, and serving the community while having fun at the same time!

With this year’s national theme -- Faith, Academics, Service -- the children showed their appreciation for their education throughout the week with special events. They recognized and expressed gratitude for their Church pastors, community, nation, religious vocations, school faculty and staff, their parents, and their education. In addition, each day planned had a particular theme for the children to dress in entertaining apparel.
