Mike Bolton has taken a life long passion for fishing and turned it into an ultimate guide book.
He also followed in the footsteps of his father, Birmingham News sports writer, Clyde Bolton.
Mike and Fred head out to fish.

The Ultimate Guide to Alabama Fishing has tips, maps for fishing holes and much more.

For most Alabama youngsters their first experience with the great outdoors is when a parent or other relative takes them camping, hunting or fishing.

This week we go fishing with Mike Bolton, whose dad was legendary Birmingham News Sports writer Clyde Bolton.

Mike followed in his dad's footsteps and taken his life long love of the outdoors and put it all into a book titled "The Ultimate Guide To Alabama Fishing." It lists all the good holes in every lake in Alabama and much more and this week Fred Hunter shows us why it's Absolutely Alabama.
